Seaside Adventures

On Wednesday we headed down to the local beach to search for some interesting sea life and have some great fun too!
We got into groups and rotated around to the various activities. We took part in a scavenger hunt, recording pictures of what we found and writing some adjectives to describe what we saw. Even though the tide was in, we were able to search on the shore and were surprised to find some oyster shells, different kinds of seaweed and teeny, tiny crabs.

We also created some beach art and made some sand castles.
Next week we will be using this experience to create some questions to investigate.
Stay tuned for more information.
